CafeGive Boosts Year-End Giving Campaigns and Giving Tuesday

CafeGive will celebrate a national movement that is making, November 27, 2012, a day dedicated to giving (#GivingTuesday) by offering businesses and their causes ready to deploy Facebook apps to support end of year giving.

If you knew your company could raise money for important community causes or Hurricane Sandy victims with almost no effort - and even double your donation with matching funds from friends and customers - you'd do it, wouldn't you?

If you were planning to give an end of year donation and you could increase the impact of that donation by increasing your causes’ Facebook community - wouldn't you do it?

We thought so. That's why CafeGive is announcing a half-price offer to the first 25 organizations who ask to be part of our year-end charitable giving campaign, which we're launching this week.

CafeGive will discount its Make the Match donations and Like Us Give Back Facebook apps to $200 - over half the normal price - for 25 businesses that want to make the holidays good for everyone. And CafeGive isn't just making it more affordable to launch a giving campaign - the company will also provide all the graphics for your giving campaign, and will host the web app for you.

Best of all - you get to choose your cause. Want to give to a local cause dear to your heart? Great. Prefer to give to Hurricane Sandy victims? That's just fine by us; we just want to support your giving efforts.

Giving is down this year

Up to 30 percent of charitable giving happens in December every year. But this year is different - fundraising at more than half of charities nationwide has slowed substantially. Fewer people are giving, and donations are smaller. Reduced giving is making it much harder for charities to help needy people in a year where the needs are greater than ever.  

That's why CafeGive is making its offer right now. The 25 companies that take up CafeGive's offer will be able to raise more than they could on their own with the help of CafeGive's Make the Match donation-matching app - as much as 50 to 100 percent more, aided by the awareness and generosity of each company's customers, employees and social media friends. These extra funds will make a big difference to people in need in these 20 communities.
